Is looking to recruit a Manager
Full Time/Permanent – 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary £37,336 – £40,221
Pension 5% employee 8% employer
HOPS is one of the highly acclaimed Neighbourhood Network Schemes in Leeds and works with older people living in Hawksworth Wood encompassing the neighbourhoods of Hawkswood Estate, Abbeydales and Vespers.
Staff and several volunteers work together to provide a range of services and activities helping to promote the well-being of its members, alleviating social isolation and encouraging independence.
Activities supporting the development of healthy and physical mental well-being include:
· singing
· tai chi
· yoga
· fun keep fit
· line dancing
· day trips
· holidays
· bi-weekly lunch clubs
· Tuesday café 10am-2.30pm
Who are we looking for
An experienced Manager to replace the existing post holder who is retiring.
We expect the new Manager to have a commitment to and understand of the needs of older people and will have the experience to find new ways of meeting those needs now and in the future.
The right person will be able to take existing work on board and will monitor and evaluate its success on a regular basis. To continue to build on the Groups’ achievements and plan to enhance services increasing both memberships, volunteers, activities and fundraising.
