We’re looking for an experienced Technical Director to drive the execution of our technical strategy and ensure excellence across complex delivery workstreams. Acting as a key bridge between strategy and execution, you’ll lead Principal Consultants and their teams, translating high-level plans from the CTO into actionable roadmaps. This is a senior leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in shaping outcomes, building strong teams, and ensuring technical execution aligns with business goals.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional leadership team, guiding scalable and maintainable delivery while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Execute the technical strategy across teams and delivery workstreams
* Translate strategic goals into actionable technical roadmaps and plans
* Lead and mentor a team of Principal Consultants and support their leadership of technical teams
* Oversee technical delivery to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs
* Ensure optimal resource allocation and monitor delivery performance
* Define and enforce development standards, tooling, and documentation practices
* Collaborate with commercial and delivery leaders to ensure alignment across functions
* Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Lead feedback loops and retrospectives to embed continuous improvement
* Mitigate risks such as delivery delays, misalignment, and technical debt accumulation
