Service area: Infrastructure and Facilities
Building Facilities are a multidisciplinary team providing a wide range of building surveying and engineering services to both internal and external clients on a wide range of properties including schools, leisure centres and our housing stock. We have a very busy and varied workload delivering a planned and capital programme of circa £22m per annum.
We are seeking an Assistant Principal Building Surveyor (2 posts) to work in our team based at County Hall, Beverley.
You should be a highly motivated individual and possess significant Building Surveying experience across a full range of traditional Building Surveying services such as building surveys, feasibility reports and advice to clients on a wide range of property related issues.
The successful applicant will play a key role in a team of professional staff delivering a variety of project work and programmes of refurbishment works across the portfolio of properties. You should have significant experience undertaking a wide range of projects and be a good communicator and mentor to other team members.

You should hold a BSc in Building Surveying and ideally be a Chartered member of RICS or actively working towards Chartered status via the RICS APC programme.
