The Role
This is a customer-facing, field-based position that involves travelling throughout the UK (and occasionally overseas). You will represent The Wellness Tree Group during equipment installations, servicing, fault-finding, and repairs at customer premises – from private homes to commercial wellness facilities.
This pivotal role requires both technical competence and excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be training customers on equipment use, supporting our installation team, and providing remote technical advice.
Full training will be provided, and you will become a certified installer and service technician for our range of products.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, diagnose, and repair hyperbaric oxygen chambers and associated equipment
* Support installations and repairs of other company products (Cryogen Chambers, Far-Infrared Saunas, LED Red Light Beds)
* Calibrate manometers, safety valves, and sensors
* Conduct remote fault-finding and provide technical support to clients and the Installer team
* Train customers on correct and safe use of equipment
* Maintain accurate administration and job reporting
* Manage stock, parts, and equipment for assigned jobs
* Provide occasional support in the warehouse when required
* Uphold The Wellness Tree Group's high standards of customer care and professionalism
Person Requirements
* Strong customer service skills, approachable, professional, and confident in customer-facing situations
* Organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
* Previous experience in machinery installation, servicing, or repair (experience with hyperbaric chambers, air compressors, or oxygen concentrators advantageous but not essential, full training provided)
* Ability to carry out basic fault finding on low voltage electrical equipment (e.g., compressors)
* Physically capable, the role involves some heavy lifting and can be physically demanding
* Flexible and willing to travel long distances or stay overnight where required
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Good IT skills (Excel, Word, PDF, Outlook)
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to train customers effectively
* Ex-military technicians, diver technicians, or similar backgrounds are welcome to apply
Qualifications & Experience
* City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical or Plant Engineering (or equivalent) preferred
* Clear communication and ability to follow company procedures and safety practices
* Smart, professional appearance, you will act as an ambassador for the company
