As a Technical Manager, youll be responsible for leading the technical function across manufacturing operations, ensuring products, processes and systems meet the highest standards of quality, safety and performance. Youll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the technical and engineering function across the business Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and processes Provide technical guidance and support to engineering and production teams Oversee product and process development activities Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost and performance Work cross-functionally with operations, quality and leadership teams Support audits, inspections and compliance activities Develop and maintain technical procedures and documentation Lead and develop a high-performing technical team What youll need To succeed in this role, youll bring: Experience in a Technical Manager, Engineering Manager or similar leadership role Background within manufacturing, engineering or production environments Strong understanding of technical processes, quality and compliance Proven experience driving process improvement and operational efficiency Strong leadership and team development skills Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels Desirable Experience within regulated or high-spec manufacturing environments Knowledge of quality standards or compliance frameworks Exposure to health, safety and environmental processes About you Youre a proactive and strategic technical leader who can balance hands-on support with long-term planning.
