Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in providing assistance to our service users in their own homes, requiring strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Responsibilities
* Assist with daily activities
* Engage with service user to provide companionship and emotional support
* Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour
* Maintain accurate records of support provided and any observations made
Requirements
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with service user and colleagues
* Ability to follow and implement support plans effectively
* Must be a car driver
* Experience working with young adults with behaviours that challenge and LD
