Key Skills * Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering * Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery * Lean knowledge. The Role The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be an apprentice trained qualified engineer and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day automation engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, improving & maintaining automation & control systems across the site, ensuring optimal performance of production equipment. Improving electrical instrumentation & automation systems to ensure seamless production processes. Lead & manage small projects. You will also have experience with robotics, control & vision systems. Familiar with lean manufacturing, six Sigma & CI. There is a huge scope and variety on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
