Position: Academic Partnership Manager
Location: ON-SITE, London, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary Range: £55K - £60K (Depending on work experience)
6 months probationary
Purpose of the role:
The Academic Partnership Manager is responsible for the effective leadership, management, and development of the College’s Academic Faculty, within the framework of the College’s mission and strategic direction. This includes providing effective communication with partner universities to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities.
The position holder will foster a culture of excellence and high academic standards and will maintain and enhance the student experience by exercising leadership, demonstrating vision, and empowering others. As part of this, the Academic Partnership Development Manager will champion learning, teaching and employability across the College and contribute to the development and improvement of other college strategies to achieve its overall mission.
The post-holder will be based at the London Campus but will need to co-ordinate activities across all campuses of the College.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Partnership Development:
* Craft and implement a strategic plan for partnerships, aligning with William College’s objectives and ethos.
* Proactively identify and engage with potential partners to diversify and enhance our educational offerings.
* Stay attuned to educational market dynamics and competitor initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
2.Effective Relationship Management:
* Establish and deepen relationships with educational bodies and agents, serving as the primary liaison.
* Collaboratively work with various internal teams to integrate partner requirements into college offerings.
* Handle partner inquiries, issues, and feedback efficiently, fostering long-lasting relationships.
3.Negotiation and Contractual Oversight:
* Lead negotiations to forge beneficial partnerships, ensuring terms align with both parties' interests.
* Oversee the drafting, review, and management of contracts, adhering to legal and company standards.
4.Performance Analysis and Reporting:
* Regularly evaluate partnership metrics to gauge effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
* Prepare detailed reports for upper management, encapsulating partnership performance and insights.
5.Leadership and Team Development:
* Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of partnership managers, setting goals and encouraging team success.
* Cultivate an environment that values innovation, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving.
6.Brand Advocacy and Promotion:
* Develop presentations showcasing college capabilities, success stories, and comprehensive student services.
* Represent William College at industry events to foster new relationships and promote its vision and services.
Skills:
* Demonstrable ability to prepare and oversee implementation of program development plans and assess colleagues’ work.
* The ability to communicate with senior education professionals.
* The ability to build and maintain effective teacher/learner relationship with students.
* A highly developed understanding of the demands of maintaining good cross-cultural, interpersonal and relationships.
* High-level communication and presentation skills.
* An effective team player
Required Qualifications:
Essential:
* A minimum Bachelor's or master’s qualification from a recognized university.
* Prior work experience in a UK-style HE college environment or university.
* Operations Management, Quantitative techniques, Supply Chain Management
* Strong negotiation power and understanding of Partnership with Universities.
