Job Description
We are seeking an experienced consultant with a strong background in operational due diligence and strategy execution to join our EY-Parthenon team. In this role you will advise clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for value creation.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Assist in business origination, including pitches and presentations to potential clients, to help sell work.
* Lead project delivery working with senior client stakeholders within tight timeframes for EY’s most demanding clients.
* Contribute to practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
Skills And Attributes For Success
* Industry and functional experience: engineering, supply chain or graduate scheme experience at a large corporate.
* Consulting experience: familiar with working in a large-scale consulting environment or industry role with ability to perform and summarise analysis into management insights and recommended actions at pace.
* Flexibility: ability to support broader Operational and IT work.
* Leadership: act as a role model and support development of junior team members, including recruitment and training responsibilities.
To qualify for the role you must have
* Professional services / consulting experience.
* Transactions experience: due diligence, carve-out or integrations experience.
* Deep understanding of one or more core operational functions.
* Strong analytical skills, linking operational analysis to financial statements and understanding implications to client strategy.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Experience building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers.
* Experience supporting sales and business development processes for professional services projects in a large-scale consulting environment.
* A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience producing and reviewing high-quality reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership.
