Pay: £82 – £95 per day

A welcoming, high achieving Primary school in the Eastleigh area is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs throughout KS1and 2. The schools is a medium 2 form entry school in the Eastleigh area, with an excellent reputation for well behaved children and a school that is inclusive and dedicated.

The Role:
* Provide group support for those children with SEMH and SEND needs
* Facilitate access to the curriculum through tailored communication strategies
* Encourage confidence, independence, and strong social connections
* Be willing to go the extra mile and support children at lunch and break times too
* Encourage all pupils to be curious, inclusive and supportive of similarities and differences
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure consistent, effective support
* Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils

What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children in an educational or early year setting
* Maths and English Grade C or above
* A desire to support those with additional needs
* A genuine willingness to learn and grow in this area
* Strong communication skills and a creative, caring, flexible approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
