You’ll be paid a salary of up to £28,922 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met
* Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
* Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance
* Conduct low level disciplinary meetings, counselling sessions and resolution of grievances where appropriate
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Demonstrable experience within a similar role, experience supervising a team and an operational understanding of a fast-paced transport environment
* Strong leadership skills with excellent communication skills, to champion a can-do attitude
* Experience of managing conflicting priorities, along with planning and organising skills
* You will be comfortable taking responsibility demonstrating commitment and leading by example
