Science Teacher - Long-Term Supply (Wirral) - January Start - Up to £223.56 per day
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join one of our supportive Wirral secondary schools from January, covering a long-term absence until at least Easter. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator looking for a rewarding role that combines small-group intervention, one-to-one mentoring, and full-class Science teaching across KS3-KS4.
The Role
As the appointed Science Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver targeted intervention sessions to boost progress in Science
2. Provide mentoring and academic guidance to individual students
3. Teach engaging and inclusive Science lessons to full classes
4. Contribute to a department with a strong focus on achievement, respect, aspiration and community values
5. Support a school ethos centred around wellbeing, ambition and high-quality learning experiences

What We're Looking For
10. A qualified Teacher of Science (QTS or QTLS accepted)
11. Strong curriculum knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
12. Experience in delivering both whole-class lessons and intervention sessions
13. Ability to motivate learners, build rapport and contribute to a thriving department
14. A proactive, reflective approach to teaching and learning
Pay Rate
Up to £223.56 per day, depending on experience.
