Overview
We are looking for a Band 6 Cross sectional Imaging Radiographer to join our team in CT and MRI scanning. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of CT & MRI and will work alongside our current team on the rota. Radiographers work in both CT and MR scanning. We operate a 24/7 shift pattern; staff are on-site for 12 hours at a time in the vast majority of cases. Our staff work across multiple areas including the CDC for imaging.
Responsibilities
* Scanning in CT and MR environments
* Record keeping and booking appointments using the RIS system
* IV cannulation and patient care activities
Requirements / Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience of CT and MRI
* Motivated to ensure that each patient receives a good experience with an understanding and friendly face
* Flexible, eager-to-learn and caring with strong communication skills
* Willingness to consider an Annex 21 training post for the right candidate
Interview and Selection
An on-site interview involving a presentation by the candidate will be required. The applicant will need to attend a face-to-face interview on site with presentation.
