This includes performing aplete sweep of the location to ensure all IT equipment has been identified, removed, documented, and prepared for return to the Regional Distribution Centre (RDC). The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to process, and the ability to work independently on-site while coordinating with central teams.
Key Responsibilities:IT Deinstallation & Site Sweep·Conduct a thorough sweep of the site to ensure no IT kit is left behind.·Identify, label, and record all removed assets in line withpany asset‑tracking procedures.
Kit Collection & LogisticsPrepare all collected IT kit for transport to the RDC.
Ensure all items are securely packaged, labelled, and documented.Work with logistics teams to arrange timely collection and transfer.Maintain accurate records of all kit removed and handed over.Report any discrepancies, missing kit, or damaged equipment.Follow all health & safety and security protocols while on-site.Stakeholder CoordinationLiaise with the Project Manager, IT Operations, and RDC teams to ensure smooth closure activities.Escalate any blockers or unexpected findings promptly.Site Standards & ProfessionalismRepresent the organisation professionally while working on customer or branch premises.Ensure the site is left clean, safe, and free of IT equipment after deinstall.Skills & Experience Required·Experience in IT hardware reinstallation, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), or field engineering.·Strong understanding of end-user devices, peripherals, and basic networking hardware.
