We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Kitchen Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring our kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. About the Role As a Cleaner, you will: Carrying out deep cleaning of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, work surfaces, and storage areas. Dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and extraction systems. Washing, sanitising, and storing all crockery, utensils, and kitchen tools to a high standard. Ensuring all cleaning chemicals are used correctly and stored in line with COSHH regulations. Emptying bins, handling waste disposal, and ensuring proper recycling procedures are followed. Cleaning grease traps, drains, and other high-risk hygiene areas regularly. Completing cleaning schedules and checklists accurately and on time. Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or equipment faults. Maintaining strict health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times. Working efficiently to ensure the kitchen is fully cleaned and ready for the morning team. Following all company policies and procedures, including site security when closing. Essential Skills and Qualifications Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic. Ability to work night shifts. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including safe handling practices. Understanding of hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
