About The Role
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you’re looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force is the perfect solution. With contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, you’ll also enjoy the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may not always be consecutive, including days, nights, and weekends.
As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you’ll travel between a cluster of our homes, which is an essential and expected part of the role. Flexibility is key, as it allows you to support the unique needs of each home while still keeping control over your schedule. Homes include Ailsa Craig, G51 1DJ; Douglas View, ML4 1RR; Darnley Court, G53 7RR; Eastbank, G32 0HA; Greenfield Park, G32 6BX; Quayside, G13 4DT; Wyndford Lock, G20 9EW; Kirknowe, ML2 8AL; and The Village, G67 2RF.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Supporting Residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
* Helping Residents with limited mobility.
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of Residents on and off site.
A driving license with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility in adult social care. You must be able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice, report concerns and, if necessary, escalation.

Requirements

Previous care experience is preferred, though we provide full training. You must be able to work flexible hours across multiple homes.
