Job Description
3. Prepare and consolidate group financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP
4. Lead on month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes across the group
5. Manage group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
6. Support the preparation of half-year and annual reports for senior stakeholders
7. Oversee and review statutory accounts for subsidiary entities
8. Partner with and provide support to subsidiary finance teams, ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements
9. Assist with the group audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors
10. Monitor and analyse group financial performance, providing insights and recommendations
11. Maintain and enhance financial controls, policies and compliance across the group
12. Contribute to continuous improvements within the group finance function
The Successful Applicant
13. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
14. Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
15. Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements within a multi-entity environment
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
17. Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach
18. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
19. Confident communicator with the ability to engage and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including senior management and subsidiary finance teams
