The Role as Production Manager
As the Production Manager you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and smooth operations across sourcing and production while preparing the business for continued growth. Your responsibilities will include:
* Process Leadership: Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless production cycles, adapting as the business evolves.
* Operational Excellence: Solve production issues promptly, minimising delays, and ensuring all operations align with sustainability and quality standards.
* Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop an experienced team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities across all functions.
* Quality Control Oversight: Maintain rigorous QC standards to deliver products that exceed expectations.
* Growth Adaptation: Identify when and how processes need to evolve, supporting the business in scaling effectively (the brand has grown 90% year-on-year for the past two years and continues to accelerate).
* Critical Path Management: Establish and manage critical path schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and stakeholders are aligned.
* Supplier Relations: Source new suppliers, negotiate favourable terms, and build strong partnerships with existing suppliers.
* Seasonal Planning: Collaborate with the Design Studio Manager to plan seasonal calendars, review margins, and optimise projections.
* Cost Management: Oversee factory price negotiations and secure competitive costs across product categories.
* Collaboration: Partner with Merchandising and Design teams to plan product launches and integrate new trends and ideas.

* Skills: Excellent negotiation, organisational, and commercial skills, alongside advanced proficiency in relevant systems.
