Shift: double days / 37.5 hours per week
What You Will Do:
* Maintain and prepare existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and production readiness.
* Identify and resolve tooling issues effectively, implementing corrective actions as required.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on production tooling, adhering to strict schedules and standards.
* Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts using a variety of equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
* Verify and test tools for proper operation, ensuring they meet exact specifications and quality standards.
* Collaborate with production and quality teams to gather feedback and continuously improve tooling processes.
What You Will Bring:
* Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline, showcasing your technical expertise.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Hands-on experience with Tool room equipment, including overhead cranes and inspection tools.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
* A proven track record in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating your ability to deliver results.
You will have current or recent experience as tool repair technician, tooling engineer, manual machinist or jig, tool and die maintainer
