Hands on, yard operative who is confident with vehicle mechanics needed for a scrap metal dealership in Bodmin (Walker Lines Industrial Estate). This is a unique role where you dismantle accident damaged and end of life vehicles, drain fluids and pollutants and remove tyres before the rest of the car is shredded. Its busy, manual, hands on, you will be using various tools and it's all weathers. This is a great role for someone who loves working in all weathers, has a good mechanical knowledge of cars and good awareness of health and safety. Please note, we are NOT just looking for a general recycling operative, this is working on cars to needs some mechanical knowledge. This role offers you: £13.10 p/hour. 40 hours paid per week. Permanent Job from day one. Overtime paid at 1.5 Lots of training and support.
