Summary
Gil-Lec are an established electrical wholesale business who operate via trade counters and alongside with numerous e-commerce websites. Our web distribution branch is the hub for our online business, facilitating the entire process from stock control and goods-in, to the despatch of customers orders. The role we are recruiting for includes various tasks involved in this process.
The quick and accurate despatch of customer orders is core to this role. It will also include stock control, goods-in, liaising with suppliers, processing returns and other related operational tasks.
This is a busy but rewarding role, with scope for development over time for the right candidate, including support with training courses to development additional knowledge and skills.

Candidate Specification
This is a multi-skilled role within a busy warehouse team. The right candidate will need to be adaptable in their approach and meticulous about accuracy. Electrical wholesale product knowledge is a benefit but not necessary. A degree of IT literacy will be required, along with the commitment to fully engage with the company's processes and procedures.
The ideal person will be someone who can look for improvements, identify issues and take ownership to resolve these throughout their work.
You should as a minimum have:
* A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
* A 'can-do' attitude and the motivation to progress and learn
* A flexible approach to work and learn a variety of tasks
* A passion for delivering best in service
* A desire to commit to the business and develop long term
