About Veriswap
Veriswap is a barter marketplace for trading cards, operating within the $10B+ sports card secondary market. We're focused on creating a new swap economy because we firmly believe that the swaps market is 5x larger than the cash sales market for collectibles. Our mission is to empower collectors by enabling them to trade sports cards anytime, anywhere. Our grand vision is to become the eBay of swapping. Currently, we have 70,000+ users and have escrowed $80m+ in transactions.
Our founding team comes from Columbia (ex-IB) and from Brown (ex-Google). Together, we’re building something truly exciting, and we’re looking for driven individuals to help us shape the future of collectibles.
Requirements
* Strict requirements:
o App development using React Native: 4 years+. Past 4 years of work should be mobile-focused. The acceptable ratio between mobile / web experience is 80% mobile, 20% web.
o Typescript: 2 years+

* Nice to have:
o Experience with GCP, AWS / Azure is acceptable
* Basics:
o Understanding of React components, hooks, lifecycle methods, DOM manipulation.
o Understanding of Agile, Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Design.
o Experience with REST API's.
o Hands-on experience with GitHub (pull requests, branches, commits...).
Benefits
* Fully remote role, offshore preferred. 4 hours overlap with 8-5pm PST
* Technical team currently consists of 2 backend devs, 1 web frontend dev, mobile dev, CTO, part-time designer, part-time QA, all offshore
o We are hiring a RN dev because we need more dev bandwidth
o We do not work on sprints, we have tickets on an asana board and work on a rolling basis
* Rest of team currently consists of ~15 members
* App is in production. Additional resources are needed to build out new features and refine old ones.
* Pay: at or above market @ local rate
