The Role:
This exciting Workplace/Facilities Assistant role sits in the Workplace team, and reports to the Workplace Manager. The Workplace Assistant responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Assisting with monitoring systems and services to ensure the smooth running of the office, identifying and rectifying any issues (eg plumbing, electrical, security / access, mechanical)
* Reporting and recording maintenance issues, following up as necessary
* Monitoring internal rooms and facilities ensuring they are well presented and maintained
* Coordinating the archive system and maintaining electronic filing
* Assisting in the documentation of procedures and updating user guides
* Responding to staff queries and resolve workplace-related faults, issues or concerns
* Setting up meeting and event spaces in line with internal requirements and requests
* Supporting Reception / Hospitality when required, including keeping client area presentable
* Ad-hoc administrative support where needed
The successful Workplace/Facilities Assistant will:
* Collaborate effectively as a team player
* Be proactive, practical and curious
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Have a 'muck-in' and 'can-do' attitude
