We work very closely with a fantastic special school based on the outskirts of Bath that is looking for 2 Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join either the primary or secondary site, depending on experience.
The school caters to various special needs but is primarily focused on SEMH students. Therefore, the work can be challenging at times. However, many permanent staff find the challenging nature of the work to be very rewarding.
The role
The role involves a range of responsibilities. You need to be versatile: providing general classroom support, 1-1 support, assisting teachers as needed, supporting students outside of the classroom, and stepping in pastorally when required.
They are open to applications from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you're a support worker with good SEN experience or a mainstream TA seeking a change, the school would love to hear from you.
