Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
* Contract Type: Full-time, September Start
* Salary: £110 per day

As a Learning Mentor in the role of a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities extend beyond the traditional classroom. You'll play a crucial part in supporting children with diverse learning needs, both on-site and off-site. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in varied environments and is passionate about enhancing educational experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Personalised Support:
o Offer 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.
o Be prepared to transport pupils to off-site locations for enriching learning experiences.
* Collaboration and Planning:
o Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities.
o Support pupils during transitions and daily routines, whether in the classroom or during outdoor sessions.
* Emotional Well-being:
o Help pupils regulate their behaviour and emotions.
o Encourage positive interactions and social skills, both within the school premises and in beautiful natural settings.
* Assessment and Communication:
o Contribute to formal SEND assessments.
o Share valuable insights with families and home schools, ensuring a holistic approach to each child’s development.
* Swift Return to Education:
o Our goal is to facilitate a swift return to long-term education settings, including those beyond the school walls.
* Teamwork and Support:
o Collaborate with other teaching assistants, teachers, and support staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
