Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and Early Years Teacher to provide hands-on operational support across Footsteps Nursery Fradley. This pivotal role focuses on upholding high-quality standards, supporting staff teams, ensuring child safety and wellbeing, and helping manage day-to-day operational challenges, including staffing and ratios.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, staff, families, and visitors at all times
* Ensure EYFS and other regulatory frameworks are consistently met
* Support the administration of medication and maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans
* Provide children with engaging, age-appropriate environments, resources, and experiences
* Promote professionalism, respect, and positive communication across teams
* Motivate staff with creative ideas, feedback, and practical support to help achieve outstanding practice
* Maintain accurate records using EyMan and other relevant systems
* Carry out additional duties as required to support nursery operations
* Full UK driving licence required – travel between sites is essential
Requirements
* Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare (QTS), Early Years Teacher qualification
* Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an Early Years setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and safeguarding standards
* Passionate about the early years, delivering quality and a high standard of teaching
* Confidence
* Experience working within a Pre-School
