Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Lawyer to join a busy local authority legal team in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead on high-value commercial projects while making a tangible difference to the community.
Role: Senior Contracts Lawyer
Location: Northamptonshire – hybrid working with office attendance once per week
Umbrella Rate: £55 - £60ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £48.41 - £52.76ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a small project team, ensuring quality outcomes and timely delivery.
* Work closely with Procurement colleagues to shape, advise on, and deliver major projects.
* Draft and negotiate high-value, multi-lot and supplier framework agreements.
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with substantial public sector contracts 3+ years of PQE.
* Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding teams on high-stakes projects.
