Markets Operations Belfast Overview:
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview
This is an entry-level role within the futures team in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing & welcoming team, who directly interact numerous areas of the bank, including front office trading. This role is focused primarily on trade clearing at numerous EU and UK Clearing houses (CCPs) – ensuring that the books and records of the firm are kept in line with what is cleared in the real world.
What you will do:
* Working with exchange traded derivatives (ETD) ensuring trades clear in good time
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to collectively create a best in class offering for our clients
* Maintain and update static data where needed
* Utilize your fresh perspective to suggest process improvements
What we will need from you:
* Previous relevant experience preferable but not essential
* Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment
* Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
* Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
Successful candidates will attend a three week Market Operations Training Academy. This aims to help you understand how Markets Operations work and where your role fits in in Citi while also providing you with all the tools needed to be the best you can be in your new role.
