Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh We are working with a well-established UK consultancy to appoint an Actuarial Director into their Scottish pensions team. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Actuary who enjoys combining client leadership, people management and business development within a growing and supportive environment. The firm works predominantly with small to medium sized pension schemes, offering a broad range of actuarial and advisory services. The Role You will play a key role in leading client relationships and shaping the future growth of the pensions practice in Scotland. The position offers real scope to influence strategy, develop people and build a strong personal profile within the market. Key responsibilities include: Strategic management of a portfolio of DB pension scheme clients, including oversight of delivery, advice and fee agreements Supporting and driving business development activity, including identifying new opportunities and contributing to business planning Line management and development of actuarial staff, including recruitment, performance management and mentoring About You You will be an experienced pensions actuary with strong technical credibility and a commercial mindset. You are likely already operating at senior manager or director level, or ready to step up.
