About the Practice
You’ll be joining a small but busy firm with a strong reputation across East Devon. The private client department is experiencing steady growth and it is looking for someone who can take on workload straight away. The team values collaboration, provides secretarial/admin support and maintains a genuinely warm, inclusive environment—yes, even the tea and coffee rounds.
Your Responsibilities
You’ll manage a varied private client caseload, including:
* Drafting wills
* Probate applications
* Estate administration
* Tax and lifetime planning
* Advising clients and taking instructions with confidence
You’ll be trusted to work independently while still having colleagues around when you need them.
Experience Needed
Qualification is optional. You will be:
* A solicitor or legal executive with 2+ years’ private client experience, or
* An unqualified fee earner with 3+ years managing your own wills & probate files
This can be recruited at a senior level for the right candidate.
