Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)

Long Term Futures is working with a supportive and welcoming primary school in Rugby (CV22) to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2. The school has a strong SEN ethos, a proactive SENCO and a collaborative staff team who value consistency, structure and positive relationships.
The Role
As a KS2 SEN TA, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties. Support may be provided on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, depending on pupil needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, regulated and confident within the classroom, enabling them to engage with learning and make progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing tailored SEN support within KS2 classrooms
Supporting pupils to work towards EHCP targets
Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support and engagement
Delivering targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy or social skills
Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support staffThe Ideal Candidate
