We’re excited to be partnering with a large, well-established Peterborough based business who are currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation, particularly across technology and infrastructure investment.
As part of this evolution, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join the team, focusing on Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and supporting key investment decisions across the business.
The Role
This is a highly visible and commercially focused role, sitting at the heart of where the business is investing. You will take ownership of the CapEx process, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure robust financial control, accurate forecasting, and meaningful insight into spend and returns.
Key Responsibilities
* Take the lead on monitoring and forecasting capital spend, ensuring the numbers are accurate, up to date, and well understood
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, gaining a clear view of upcoming projects and planned investment
* Play a key role in reviewing investment proposals, providing financial input and ensuring they stack up commercially and technically
* Offer insight into how capital spend is impacting cash flow and wider business performance
* Ensure appropriate governance is in place around CapEx, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and control
* Look for ways to enhance reporting, processes, and overall visibility of capital investment across the business
About You
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Experience working with CapEx, capital projects, or investment spend
* Confident business partner with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
