Health Care Support Worker – Band 3
Covering Archer Ward
Opportunity for full time post.
We are looking for reliable, flexible Health Care Support workers to work within Archer Ward.
Archer Ward is a 20‑bedded ward which provides holistic person‑centred care that enables individuals to increase independence, improve health outcomes and reduce unnecessary admissions to secondary care or long‑term care. This is achieved through timely interventions, rehabilitation, management of long‑term and limiting conditions and partnership working across the health and social care community.
We also have palliative care beds for people at the end of life by providing holistic person‑centred care which includes symptom management and the provision of psychological, social, spiritual and practical support.
All staff within the service work in collaboration with the patient, their carer and other statutory and voluntary organisations and agencies.
Required qualifications and skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly motivated and positive approach to care delivery
* Preferred: Registered nurse
