Abatec is currently recruiting for an experienced Stores/Logistics Section Leader to join our client's Supply Chain team. This is a key role focused on driving change and continuous improvement within the logistics function. You'll be responsible for coordinating all logistics activities, leading internal transport operations, and improving communication across departments.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Lead and manage internal logistics operations, including transport and warehousing
* Implement and improve Kanban systems and internal product movement using ERP and barcode technology
* Oversee warehouse layout, space optimisation, and material handling practices
* Supervise, coach, and train logistics and warehouse teams
* Track and analyse logistics KPIs, identify trends, and implement process improvements
* Manage driver quality, no-show rates, and ensure compliance with legal and ISO standards
* Collaborate with the purchasing team to maintain stock levels and support business needs
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a senior logistics or supply chain role
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and stock control systems
* Experience working in quality-accredited environments with audit procedures
* Ability to lead change, influence others, and challenge the status quo
* Solid IT skills, particularly in Excel and ERP systems
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Experience in upgrading or modernising warehouse systems
