The Role
Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Bedfordshire
Hours: 18 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary
Rate: £30 - £38 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching in GCSE and A-Level Mathematics.
* Plan and implement engaging lessons that promote pupil progress.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
* Assess, track, and report on student performance effectively.
* Contribute to the broader school community and departmental goals.
Requirements
* Experience teaching Maths at both GCSE and A-Level within a secondary school or sixth form.
* Proven track record of achieving strong student progress and attainment.
* In-depth subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential.
