We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Cambria, our prison education provider at HMP Berwyn, working as a Multi Skills Vocational Trainer. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 37 hours per week. Candidates must hold a level 2 or 3 qualification in one of the following: Plastering, Joinery or Bricklaying. Site Information HMP Prison Berwyn is a Category C prison in Wrexham County Borough, Wales. It accommodates a male population. It is the largest prison in the UK, opened in 2017, and is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison's mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society Role Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum planning, training and assessment for learners on our level 1 multi-skills course.
