Business Analyst (Product Development)

London (Hybrid - 3 days/week in Farringdon office)

Full-time, salary: £60,000-70,000

Job Summary

We’re looking for a technical Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of product development, backend systems, and customer needs. You’ll help shape and evolve our platform by turning complex system behaviours into clear product requirements, validating features through hands‑on testing, analysing data at scale, and supporting customers in configuring and optimising their environments. This role is less about traditional process documentation and more about driving how the product works and why.

About Travtus

Travtus is transforming multifamily real‑estate operations with AI‑powered SaaS solutions. Our platform automates and enhances multifamily building operations, boosting efficiency, staff retention and improving resident satisfaction with data‑led decisions. We're on a mission to modernise property operations with our everyday AI platform built for the multifamily real‑estate industry.

About the Role

Product & System Understanding – Develop a deep technical understanding of our backend platform, its architecture, workflows, integrations and data flows. Our platform is highly complex, so strong technical curiosity and depth are essential.

Document Business Processes & System Architecture – Understand and map processes across teams, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Our backend platform architecture and implementations are complex, akin to that of a bank or telco.

Process & Feature Testing – Create and monitor user stories, design and execute testing of processes and features, helping the team understand what’s working and why, and identifying the root causes of issues when things don’t go as expected.

Support with Automation Initiatives – Bring an interest in automation and how it can streamline operations and improve internal efficiency, especially in QA and deployment. Basic coding and using Postman API regularly.

Support Customers – Work directly with customers to understand their specific needs and help them configure their platform ecosystem accurately and efficiently. Investigating and triaging issues.

Data Analysis – Work with large amounts of data, utilising spreadsheets and BI tools to clean and analyse data professionally.

Own & Manage the Travtus Notion Workspace – Ensure internal knowledge is centralised, searchable, up‑to‑date, and structured to empower every team member.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be a natural problem‑solver with an affinity for automation, efficiency, and AI‑driven solutions, with excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non‑technical teams.

Must Have Requirements

* Proven experience as a technical Business Analyst with a focus on product and system delivery.
* Worked with complex SaaS products and understanding how things work ‘under the hood’ is key.
* Experience documenting backend system architectures in cloud environments is essential.
* Have experience working in a start‑up, scale‑up or highly product‑oriented business.
* Process mapping, documentation, and diagramming must be high‑level.
* Experience in designing and running process and product testing initiatives.
* Competent data analysis skills, with the ability to run with broad stakeholder requirements and develop accurate insights without support.

Nice to Have Requirements

* AI automation experience
* Hands‑on experience with APIs
* Experience working with Notion, although any similar system will do

About the Team

We are a dedicated team, working in a truly collaborative style, where everyone is heard and brings something valuable to the conversation. Constantly pushing boundaries to create groundbreaking solutions for our customers. We are fundamentally challenging the way one of the largest industries in the world operates, and our commercial success pays testament to the skill, commitment and passion that our team displays every day.

Working together in person fuels our best ideas and innovations, which is why all team members spend at least three days a week in our London office.
