The Opportunity:

Join our global team as a People Manager You'll lead employee relations, drive HR best practices, oversee the employee lifecycle whilst shaping strategy and culture. This is your chance to make real impact, build strong partnerships, and champion change across an innovative international business.

Responsibilities of a People Manager include:

* Providing expert advice and best practice approaches on employee relations, policies, and employment law.
* Leading on complex Employment Relations cases.
* Providing support on employee relations for our German entity.
* Ensuring policies remain compliant with legislation, aligned to our strategy, and effectively communicated.
* Completion of UK and GMBH payroll monthly.
* Overseeing the recruitment and onboarding process, to ensure candidate satisfaction.
* Overseeing the day to day running of the People team.
* Working closely with the Head of People on delivering the People strategy with various projects
* Being a champion of change and a key driver of employee Values.
* Building relationships with Managers and developing a partnering approach to be able to deliver feedback.
* Delivering regular Training Sessions to managers
* Providing a monthly People report with key data that will be delivered to the SLT
* Representing EU Automation and the People function in networking and professional events.
* This role will include some travel to our remote locations.

Requirements of a People Manager include:

* Must hold a minimum of Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent.
* Strong HR generalist with multi-site experience.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment law.
* Proven background in employee relations.
* Experience in delivering HR projects.
* Experience delivering organisational change.
* Confident in supporting leaders across Europe.
* Management of a small team.
* Enthusiastic with drive to push through an ever changing landscape and a passion to educate managers.
* Experience and a passion for supporting the L&D and employee engagement agenda.

Salary and benefits:

* Up to £45,000 salary depending on experience.
* 33 days annual leave per year.
