This will be working on a day shiftMonday to Friday 0800 -1630 Key Duties and Responsibilities Work as part of a flexible team using approved methods of assembly and testing to produce safe quality products Ensure safe working practices are adhered to and maintained at all times Process orders in line with Master Production Schedule/Work to List Complete sub-assembly and spares work orders as per requested date Maintain quality standards and associated reporting procedures Be proactive in the development of existing and new products and quality standards Maintain accurate records as specified by the Manufacturing Manager Provide assistance and support to other departments and personnel as required Liaise daily with Manufacturing Manager, discussing all relevant issues including drawing changes, BOM updates and manufacturing improvements. Collective responsibility for tooling and work methods within the department Maintain good order of the company property and general housekeeping Complete daily, weekly, monthly safety checks as required To abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to COSHH and health and safety. To adhere to and promote all current company policies and procedures in place Work within the department, or as part of cross functional teams to implement continuous improvement working towards World Class Manufacturing. To undertake any other reasonable task as directed by the Management team. Basic PC knowledge, Windows, Microsoft Office, etc Maths, literacy and ability to read a basic engineering drawing Experience Understanding of use of basic hand tools and assembly techniques Proven experience in a mechanical/electrical sub-assembly environment Skills Basic maths and reasoning ability. Able to accurately understand, follow build procedures, schematics and engineering drawings.
