Oldham Marsh Page Flavell have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant in our busy Private Client Department.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and confident individual with excellent secretarial and client skills with legal experience within a Private Client department.
We offer a friendly working environment.
The role is for maternity cover for up to 12 months and would ideally suit someone looking to gain experience in a legal environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Experience in a Private Client department preferred.
Trained in secretarial practice.
High word processing and audio typing skills.
Accurate filing and archiving.
An excellent telephone manner and the ability to deal with clients effectively and efficiently.
Ability to encourage and work in a team environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with staff and key contacts at all levels.
Sound organisational and prioritisation skills
Self-motivation skills with the ability to handle multiple work matters simultaneously.
Answering calls and taking messages.
Management of fee-earner's diary including arranging meetings and appointments and updating central diary systems.
Opening files.
Photocopying and scanning of documents.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £22,500.00 per year
