Overview
A North West-based Housing Association is recruiting a Finance Manager on a fixed-term contract (up to £65K) or daily rate basis (£250-£350). Offering hybrid and flexible working, this role will support business operations while a permanent appointment is made.
The role
Managing a small team, the Finance Manager\'s key focus is on delivering timely and accurate monthly management information to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure the Management Accounts are delivered accurately and on time
* Oversee the production of accurate and timely MI to stakeholders
* Business Partner non-financial managers to enable better budgetary control, and the KPIs understanding
* Lead and oversee the delivery of effective Business Partnering within the team to support various areas of the business
* Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting
* Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and continually reviewed and improved
The person
* You will be an experienced accountant, ideally with current or previous Social Housing experience or a similar regulated industry
* You will be a strong team manager, an experienced leader
* You will have experience in budget setting and monitoring, and have a business partner approach to stakeholders
* Strong excel skills and a working knowledge of integrated accounting systems
