About the Role:
We're looking for a highly skilled HR Consulting Specialist to join a leading HR function during an exciting period of transformation. This role focuses on managing complex and high-risk employee relations matters, partnering with senior leadership, and driving improvements across ER processes, policies, and overall colleague experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage complex ER cases with a focus on risk mitigation, compliance, and colleague wellbeing
Provide strategic advice on employment law, HR policy, and process
Use insights and data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for proactive intervention
Support junior HR/ER colleagues with coaching and guidance
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Ethics, and business units to ensure aligned and effective case resolution
Lead and support training initiatives and contribute to ongoing ER policy and process enhancements
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in senior-level or complex ER case management
Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee dispute resolution
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
Data-driven and solutions-oriented with the ability to analyse trends and recommend improvements
Confident in handling sensitive situations and advising senior leadership
Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
