Position Summary
ITW Construction Products UK is seeking a dynamic leader to join their fast-paced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and team-building skills, managing employees across multiple manufacturing disciplines. Responsibilities include developing and executing business plans, policies, and strategies; acquiring resources; managing suppliers; leading process improvements; maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports; and providing oversight of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Safety: Prioritize safety by ensuring a safe working environment and fostering a culture of continuous health & safety improvement.
2. Operations Management: Oversee production, warehouse, toolroom, and maintenance activities, ensuring accountability and deliverables are met.
3. Customer Service: Deliver differentiated service focused on excellence, product reliability, and availability.
4. Performance Metrics: Implement and monitor metrics to track safety, quality, cost, delivery, manufacturing efficiency, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
5. Site Performance: Focus on optimizing site performance, especially on key offerings.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Use systems and resources to proactively maintain capital equipment, prioritizing issues to improve performance sustainably.
7. Talent Development: Identify and develop talent to maximize organizational effectiveness and support leadership development frameworks.
8. Operational Strategies: Implement strategic initiatives and align team processes to drive continuous improvement.
9. Business Planning: Own the S&OP process, collaborating closely with commercial and supply chain teams.
10. Issue Resolution: Address operational, quality, and maintenance issues proactively to control costs and prevent delays.
11. Digital Solutions: Collaborate on implementing digital site solutions.
12. Growth Alignment: Align operational goals with commercial growth plans.
13. Leadership: Provide strong leadership, embodying ITW values and culture.
