About the Role
We’re looking for a confident and community-minded Housing Officer to take responsibility for a patch of homes and deliver a high-quality housing management service. This is a frontline role that’s all about people, supporting residents, managing tenancies, and keeping neighbourhoods safe, well-maintained, and thriving.
You’ll handle a broad range of issues including tenancy sign-ups, rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, and estate management. You’ll spend time out on your patch, visiting residents, inspecting properties, and working with local agencies to resolve problems and improve the area.
Main Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of tenancies, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and housing policies.

Provide advice and practical support to help residents sustain their homes.

Investigate and respond to reports of anti-social behaviour or breaches of tenancy.

Carry out regular estate inspections and ensure maintenance issues are reported and followed up.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations to resolve complex cases.

Keep accurate records and maintain up-to-date case management systems
