Applications are invited for a permanent Lectureship within our National Cyber Security Academy, in our Cyber Security and Digital Forensics department; which offers a suite of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Applied Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. USW is one of the largest Cyber Security education providers in the UK and has been awarded the NCSC’s Gold Standard as an Academic Centre for Excellence in Cyber Security Education and holds the accolade of winning Cyber University of the year award for four years in a row. We are seeking to appoint a permanent lectureship, where the role will involve delivery of modules and research predominantly within the CyBok knowledge tree areas. The successful candidate will have relevant postgraduate and undergraduate qualifications, demonstrable teaching experience and relevant recent academic research publications, or significant industry experience within Cybersecurity and or Digital Forensics. Along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to high quality teaching. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate their commitment to outreach and civic mission activities. This position is based at Newport campus of the University of South Wales. But some travel to our Treforest campus is expected.
