We are recruiting on behalf of our client Cranswick CPP in the HU7 area, Hull.
Our client is a leading UK food producer supplying premium food to high-profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers. They have an ambitious investment programme focused on market-leading technologies and site infrastructure, ensuring they deliver efficiently for their customers.
We are currently recruiting a QA Technician to maintain high technical standards in the factory, ensuring compliance with legislation and customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Our client seeks reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and hardworking candidates, which could lead to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular label and process control audits, ensuring documentation accuracy and addressing issues in real time.
* Conduct temperature checks on sterilizers, hand washing stations, product samples, and the environment.
* Collect chemical, microbiological, and sensory samples according to schedules.
* Complete calibration checks and record findings accurately.
* Inspect hygiene standards before operations and report failures immediately.
* Conduct GMP and fabrication audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
* Verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and report non-conformances.
* Resolve non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
* Assess finished products for quality standards.
* Check raw materials upon receipt to ensure compliance with specifications.
What We're Looking For:
* Level 2 Food Safety qualification (essential)
* Experience in QA/Technical roles within food manufacturing
* FMCG experience (advantageous)
* Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach
We Can Offer:
* Day rate: £14.74 per hour
* Working hours: 6AM to 6PM
* Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off
* Immediate starts after registration and induction
