Main Purpose:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation are maintained throughout the hotel. This is a hands-on role involving supervising the housekeeping team, managing inventory, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment for all guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
* Perform regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
* Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
* Place orders and conduct regular inventory checks.
* Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through attention to detail.
* Assist in preparing staff schedules and maintaining accurate attendance records.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
* Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations and events.
* Assist in all aspects of housekeeping management as needed.
* Prepare reports on housekeeping performance and standards.
Essential:
* Previous experience in a 5* Hotel is mandatory.
* Must lead by example, recognising when to 'manage' and when to 'lead'
* Good communication skills
* Business-oriented and a natural attitude towards providing excellent quality service
