Customer Service Consultant Role

The Role
As a Customer Service Consultant, you will join a busy and dynamic team responsible for delivering industry-leading customer service in our inbound contact centre. The team ensures advisers and customers have excellent communication experiences with M&G.
We have modern office facilities in three locations and operate a hybrid working model with at least 3 flexible days in the office and the rest from home. Equipment will be provided to support your role both in-office and remotely. Our offices offer complimentary tea and coffee, subsidised Starbucks, and transport options, including coach transfers from Stirling station.
We support exam participation for those pursuing financial qualifications.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, with shift patterns between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate information to advisers and customers, understanding requests and identifying needs.
* Maintain customer accounts, processing transactions and enquiries accurately and promptly within agreed timescales.
* Handle all requests and enquiries end-to-end, delivering personalized service.
* Continuously seek knowledge to better support colleagues, advisers, and clients.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
This role can be an excellent first step into a career in Financial Services. Desirable skills and experience include:
* Customer service and administrative experience (financial services experience is a plus but not essential).
* Experience handling calls in a busy call centre, with a focus on quality and productivity.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to build rapport and connect with others.
