We’re looking for a proactive and commercially astute Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our Wates Property Services team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in maintaining and expanding our customer base, driving new opportunities, and ensuring a strong, sustainable pipeline of work. What You’ll Be Doing Client Growth & Retention: Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, ensuring tailored solutions that align with both client and business goals. Strategic Development: Support the delivery of our marketing plan and sector strategy, including workshops, reporting, and progress tracking. Pipeline Management: Identify and secure new business opportunities, contributing to tenders, SQs, and promotional activity. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor performance and market trends, feeding insights into strategic planning. Collaboration: Work closely with Clients, Client Relationship Directors, Business Development Administrator and business leads to deliver results. ?? What You’ll Bring Experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships (3–5 years preferred) Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office A collaborative, customer-centric approach with the ability to juggle multiple priorities ??
