Our client, a well established and reputable name in the property industry, is seeking an experienced, motivated Lettings Negotiator / Valuer to join their successful team based in Bingley. The role focuses on winning new business through market appraisals, converting valuations into instructions and overseeing the full lettings journey from initial enquiry through to move in, all while providing outstanding customer service. Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Lettings Negotiator / Valuer: Build and maintain strong working relationships with landlords and tenants through regular communication Carry out market appraisals and rental valuations for residential properties Register prospective tenants and match them to suitable rental homes Advise landlords on achievable rental values and current market conditions Arrange and conduct property viewings, ensuring all enquiries are followed up promptly Negotiate rental terms and offers between landlords and tenants Convert valuation appointments into signed instructions and new business opportunities Progress agreed lets through referencing, compliance checks, and move-in stages Ensure all lettings activity is fully compliant with current UK legislation and regulations Proactively win new instructions through canvassing, referrals, and networking Provide professional advice to landlords on maximising rental yield and income Maintain accurate, detailed records of valuations, instructions, and outcomes Work towards achieving individual and branch performance targets Skills and Experience required: A minimum of 2 years experience in residential lettings, at negotiator or senior negotiator level Proven ability to conduct rental valuations and successfully convert them into instructions Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and manage long term client relationships Results focused and commercially aware, with a strong drive to achieve targets Highly organised with strong attention to detail and effective time management Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Sound understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements, including Right to Rent, deposit protection, EPCs, and gas and electrical safety ARLA Propertymark qualification preferred, or a willingness to work towards obtaining it Excellent customer service ethic & IT skills required What's on Offer: Salary of £27,000pa - £30,000 pro rata Flexible part time hours: 16 - 30 per week available 28 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata) Your Birthday off Company Pension If you are and experienced Lettings Negotiator / Valuer - ready to make an impact in a rewarding role with a company that values excellence? - We want to hear from you!
